Questions

How do I know whether to try Wide or Extra Wide?

We offer two width options that tend to be a good match for most wide feet!

Wide
If you find that shoes are often a bit tight in width, or shoes one size larger than your true size feel more comfortable across the front of your feet, then we recommend you order a wide fitting. This fitting is equivalent to a C or D width.

Extra Wide
If you find it very difficult to find shoes that are comfortable in width, or usually seek out shoe companies that are made for extra wide feet, then an extra wide fitting is for you! Our extra wide is equivalent to an E or EE width.

Currently these width adjustments are the only ones we can offer. Our lasts are a fixed size so we create a wide fit by adding padding to the last (the foot shaped piece of wood or plastic that the shoe is made around), and then create the shoe around the padding - this results in the shoe upper increasing in width which we find creates a comfortable fit for most wide feet.

Visit our sizing page for more information.

We can't guarantee that we will be able to create shoes that fit you perfectly but we'd love to try. We have a very generous returns policy and if you receive your shoes and they don't fit correctly we will happily remake your shoes if we think we can make adjustments to correct the fit, or provide a full refund.
